You can do the tough Things
"Nothing in this globe is valuable or doing unless it involves work, pain, and difficulties... I've never, in my entire life, had the pleasure of looking at a human being who lived a comfortable life. I have admired number of people who lived tough lives and managed their lives well."
These wise, positive phrases can help make sense of negative situations like "advance ageing" since advanced aging is typically due to a lack of commitment of doing hard things, especially regarding our health.
In the world of life, we're constantly tempted to choose "the path with the least resistance" since it's most efficient and, in general, the fastest route. However, easy doesn't translate into better nor will it lead to development. It is easy to become lazy. In regards to health issues, being lazy can lead to illness or "advanced-aging."
An Exchange of Energy -
Have you ever had something of value for the rest of your life, without any form of exchange for energy or value? Absolutely nothing of any worth lasts is given for free as every thing is an exchange of energy.
If we invest a small amount of effort into achieving or accomplishing something and get it done, the "little" amount we earn back is exactly. However, when we push the boundaries and ask ourselves to do the tough task, and push beyond our current limitations our ROI will increase exponentially.
There's a better illustration to illustrate this point than lifting weights at the gym. It's among the most effective things we can do to tone our bodies and build up our muscles. It's not as difficult now, but it will be after a few repetitions. Benefits that strong muscles provide us requires to keep pushing our bodies by adding weight.
There's no way to make progress in this world without some form of strain or pain. It's known as evolutionary growth and every human's mental, emotional and physical challenges provide them the best chance to grow.
Instead of trying to avoid to avoid "hard material," we need to look for that "silver lining" in all of the hard stuff and stop running away from a race that we won't be a winner in.
Perceptions are crucial.
Rethinking our perspectives is the first step. Recognizing the challenges as an opportunity to grow is the only way to facing fear and removing its numbing consequences. The challenges we face increase our adrenalin levels and energy production and raise the heart rate, but not in exactly in the same way that an "fight or fight" response could.
Different hormones are released when facing challenges. We're more focused and are able to utilize our physical and mental faculties more easily.
We've become weaker as human beings literally and metaphorically, as people "take the easy route" frequently. This is the reason we're currently experiencing an epidemic of global health.
We're looking to improve our health but it's "too difficult" to do weights or find the time to visit the gym
We'd like to be healthier but it's hard to give up the simple things that eat up our time.
We'd like to be healthier but it's "too difficult" to quit our unhealthy diet in favor of nutritious foods
We'd like to be healthier but we aren't able to spend the time to cook and prepare your own food. It's too complicated, and therefore we go for "fast food" "... (the sole thing fast food is fast is the speed at which they ruin your health).
We'd like to live a healthier life but would like it to be an opportunity rather than something we've earned by "hard work" or to reward us for changing our life styles
We'd like to be healthier without having to put in an effort of any kind "hard effort"
Easy doesn't mean you have to push the limits. The system of life isn't set to function like this. Life is designed as an incentive based giving and taking system. You put in what you receive. It's as simple as that.
Opportunities are often missed by people due to the fact that they dress in overalls and appears like work.
-Thomas A. Edison
Refraining from tackling challenges and choosing to continue taking the easiest option sends clear signals to our minds and body that we are content with what we have in our lives. Life is the same for us, and instead of pushing the door of new possibilities to the open, or healing our body from within it starts the process of decay caused by sedentary habits.
The simple truth is that we either move towards a positive direction when we tackle the "hard things" or we are subtly moving our bodies in the opposite direction by remaining in our safe zone of security.
The success of anything is directly dependent on sacrifice. The term "sacrifice" usually is the act of giving something up in exchange for something different.
The "good" we're all looking for in this world is wrapped in a desire to confront all the "hard things" rather than letting go of the easier ones. The current state of our health is a perfect illustration and an excellent reason to start tackling these "hard aspects."
It's about time to exchange our "easy route" illusions about becoming fit for some real "hard solutions" since we can't advance or fully recover from any health issue whether personal or global unless we deal with the root causes. If we don't have concentrated on and addressed the root causes and root causes, it's just the matter of time before another health crisis in the world is by cleverly cloaking it in "different disease or virus."
"It is much better to take numerous tiny steps towards the right direction, rather than taking a leap only to fall backwards."
